Ateliers ARKAL was brought in to completely reconfigure an existing dressing room in a recently renovated and beautifully appointed apartment just off the Champs-Élysées. The brief was clear: storage was in short supply, and the space was not being used to its full potential.
The architect’s solution? A bespoke floor-to-ceiling wardrobe and storage system to replace an existing bench seat and display units.
Ateliers ARKAL joined the project midstream, stepping in where multiple stakeholders had already been involved. Our client needed a trusted partner – one with the method and rigour to see the commission through to completion.

This apartment is a celebration of fine materials. Exquisite wood features throughout, alongside metal and leather, chosen to define the dressing room as part of the redesign.
Working from the architect’s detailed drawings, our design office translated the brief into precise technical specifications for the workshop. The expansive dressing room comprises two units, each with shelving and hanging space. All the structural elements – interior, exterior and doors – were crafted in our workshop in La Sarthe. We called upon specialist partners for certain finishes, including the stitched leather door panels and brushed brass handles, as well as the large brass-framed mirror that completes the ensemble.
This was a truly coordinated undertaking. Prototypes were produced not only to secure client approval but also to align all the trades involved before work began.
